Hello, my name is Nadia Gilkes. I am a proud graduate of Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M School of Law) and am licensed to practice in the State of Texas.
Throughout my legal career, I have focused on family law, probate, and estate planning—helping individuals and families navigate some of life’s most challenging and emotional moments. Shortly after becoming licensed, I founded The Gilkes Law Firm to support Texas families in times of crisis with compassion, clarity, and practical legal guidance.
Over time, my work revealed a gap: many individuals need support, strategy, and understanding—but may not be in a position to retain full legal representation. That realization led to the creation of eLegal Café, LLC, an online resource center designed to provide accessible guidance, tools, and education for those navigating family law and caregiving matters.
Through eLegal Café, LLC I offer family law coaching, along with resources such as guidebooks, podcast content, and workshops—all designed to help individuals move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and peace of mind.
In addition to my legal work, I am deeply committed to leadership and community service. I am actively involved in Toastmasters International, where I have earned the Distinguished Toastmaster designation twice and served as District Director for District 115 during the 2024–2025 program year. My work in Toastmasters reflects my passion for developing strong communicators and confident leaders across diverse communities.
I am also a published author and podcast host, creating content that supports personal growth, thoughtful decision-making, and navigating life transitions with intention.
Outside of my professional work, I enjoy traveling, quilting, attending festivals, and experiencing live music, shows, and concerts. I am also a dedicated Buffalo Bills fan and enjoy making time for the experiences that bring connection, creativity, and joy.
At the heart of everything I do is a simple goal: to help people move from uncertainty to clarity, guiding them with compassion toward confident decisions and a legacy they can carry forward with pride.
